Loved them so much I bought a second pair!

Posted by Scott on 7th Mar 2022

Needed a replacement for my Kinco mitts and was pleasantly surprised that these are even warmer! Wore them skiing up north in Canada in single digits and low double-digits - fingers were toasty (although added handwarmers when the temperature dropped to zero degrees). Loved them so much I bought a second pair! #sweepstakes

I would buy again if someone else shipped them.

Posted by Dan on 7th Mar 2022

The product was shipped to the wrong address the first time. I received vitamins instead of the mittens. This was probably Fedex's mistake. The next replacement shipment was sent to someone in Las Vegas,NM., not my address in Las Vegas,NV... again Fedex. The wrong recipient contacted me and I paid for shipping and he sent them to me. The mittens are good but the shipping was not. Daniel Virkler

I use these mittens while driving my atv in the dead of winter to check my trapline for hours. The are great, keep my hands warm in sub zero weather, also very durable.

They keep your hands very warm but they have no finger loops

Posted by Ed on 6th Mar 2022

They keep your hands very warm but they have no finger loops or anything inside and so it's just one big mitt. Difficult to work with but again they keep your hands warm

    Would definitely buy again!

I purchased the large, a bit roomy, enough room for an insert liner glove, however just right for a large (although, I have a large/small hand),gloves stay put. These are extremely warm, & hard to find this quality, durability & price anywhere. Gloves are light, not bulky to me and were comfortable out the package,(very, little break in). Refrigiwear's sizing is on the money. Also, excellent customer service, a pleasure.

I use the insulated leather mitt for snow blowing and my hands stayed warm and dry. They are stiff and need a break in period.

    Cold hard facts

Posted by Doug on 5th Mar 2022

Got cold hands? Well, do something about it. Refrigiwear has sold me several styles of gloves and mittens that keep my hands warm, warmer, warmest! Cold Montana winters with the possibility of bone chilling wind chill factors sort out people into two categories. Category 1: those with cold hands, frostbite, and hypothermia. Category 2: those with warm functional hands, dexterity, safe, and comfortable. I call it insurance. Even if I never have to file a claim, I pay for insurance with the hope that I'm never in a position to need it, but know it's there just in case. I don't generally wear mittens because I'm usually using my fingers. However. Gloves may not provide the same level of warmth at mittens if you are ice fishing, stranded and waiting for the tow truck, or just out on a hike. Slip a chemical hand warmer into the mitten and when you arrive home, hopefully you will still have all your fingers. No guarantee what could happen, but I put mittens and balaclavas into this year's rendition of my cold weather/emergency gear bag. Enjoy your winter sports and safe travels. Throw a little cold weather insurance in, just in case.
