I like the mouth cut-out it's more of a sideways oval that allows all access to eat or drink. I like to sit outside and drink my coffee and smoke my cigarettes and this allows that with ease. Keeps me warm though it's more of a base layer to wear under something else. It cuts the wind chill somewhat But just by itself it can get cold pretty quickly without a hood or something. For the most part it seems to stay in place.

I use this mask when I am blowing the snow out of my drive way. I bought a mask that had no mouth and come to realize I suffer from a form of claustrophobia. Wearing a mask without mouth peace freaks me out. So, I got this one to replace. It is very well made and very warm I like it a lot.
