These three finger mitts are perfect for chainsawing in Wisconsin winters. What a joy to pull the starter cable without removing your mitts! Just one problem though--they have no cuffs to keep the snow out and the warm air in. That is kind of important. So I unstiched the cuffs from a worn out pair of RefrigiWear mitts and hand sewed them into the three fingered ones. Worked perfectly. Now if they would only do this at the factory....

I use them to keep my hands warm, you asked. They are very good and warm for wearing in the freezer all day.

This was my second trial pair. I've worn this style since then. I can be in the freezer for a couple of hours straight & not feel the cold temp at all in the freezer. They are very comfortable & functional to ware.

The leather is good quality. I was disappointed that the cotton liner was not attached to the exterior leather. It would be nice if it had elastic cuffs

The three finger mitt works well when operating my snowblower. There are many times the index finger is used which you cannot do with a normal mitten. I live in New York state and we get cold winters. These mittens keep my hands warm in the coldest weather. I would recommend them to anyone.
