The boot was comfortable and well made. The only downside is that they are not made for a minus 10° freezer/warehouse. My toes were almost numb after 45 minutes and the soles turned hard and stiff. I would recommend them above 0° but nothing below that temp. Also, I sent them back due to the left heal having some sort of bulge in it that caused some discomfort after a few hours of wear.

Our employees tried other boots and the all come back to these Platinum boot. Those are good for employees who wear feet orthosis in their boot.

I work in a freezer below 0 they keep my feet somewhat warm. Only bad thing is kind of heavy. If working outside I think theses would be perfect for 30 degrees weather.

Bought for my husband. They were not true to size and were very narrow. After the third purchase for shoe. Was pretty disappointed. Customer service is great. The return process with the RefrigiWear return label is the slowest you will ever see. Takes 3-4 weeks for shoes to ship back through snail mail. Then 1 week more for your refund to be processed. Annoying and saddening. Shoes are something you have to try before you buy.

These all leather insulated work boots are great if you work outside in very cold weather. I drive an open Tug at night outside at the airport for about 4 hrs during the week. I needed a winter work boot that would keep my feet warm in -15 degree wind-chill, while still providing good protection for my feet. I actually did a lot of online research about work boots and what to look for in them. After searching around, this boots were the only one's that fit all my needs, while being at an affordable price. The boots were packaged very well and I received them in 3 days. I have the black pair which looks really great. These boots are well made and very rugged. They weigh just over 4 lbs together, but you don't feel the weight while wearing them. The entire outside of the boot is leather and water proof. The inside material is firm and padded very well. They are very warm in 15 degrees Fahrenheit. There are 5 metal speed laces that work great. The laces are of a heavy duty quality and are not to long. With 1000g of Thinsulate Ultra Insulation, these boots are very warm at -10 degrees Fahrenheit, while only wearing thick wool work socks. One very important note: your feet will sweat in these boots, if you wear them with thick wool socks. (I use foot powder to prevent my feet from sweating) These boots are very comfortable thanks to the VitaComfort system. My feet have stayed dry in snow. It has a composite toe with a rubber toe guard and a bottom puncture resistant plate. I thought the 8" height would be a problem, but it's not. I went one size up, to account for my work socks thickness and if I had to double up on my socks, I'd still have enough room. So, if your looking for a warm, safe, waterproof, comfortable and good looking work boot. Look no further.
