I bought this jacket because my sister is taking me to Banff, Canada for Christmas. She had been there before and it got down to minus 40 degrees, so I wanted a coat that could handle that kind of cold and then some. The instant I put this coat on, I could tell it was going to be just what I needed. I ordered it a size too large because I'll be layering my clothes, and the XL I got seems to be just the right fit for that. I'm just under 6 foot tall and have issues with sleeves being too short, but the sleeves on this jacket are actually slightly too long, but in my opinion that's a good thing. The true test will be around Christmas in Canada when I'll be wearing it sleigh riding, dog sledding, ice skating and snow hiking, but I have no doubt it's going to be wonderful.

My jacket is perfect for doing horse chores during the frigid Wisconsin winter weather. I'm a small petite who ordered a small. It fits perfectly and the extra length keeps me warmer. I especially like the cuffs which not only block the wind, but also allow me to shorten the length of the sleeves. The very cozy hood must be standard for all size jackets, therefore the outer layer is too big for my smaller head It should fit a larger person very well, however. In hindsight I wish I would have chosen the blue jacket instead of the green one.

I travel in Wyoming all winter. It is windy, sub zero weather and your coat has given me comfort and security that I will be just fine for whatever I encounter.

Been wearing these coats since 1974. Nothing beats 'em for warmth, comfort, and durability. But do request the MADE IN USA version.

Customer service is excellent. Product is well made, sturdy and washes well. The wind does not go thru this fabric. Finally have a coat that keeps me toasty warm in below zero weather.

Total protection from the COLD. Look good and feel like Bullet Proof

Just got back from Prudhoe Bay Alaska . Was skeptable based on the price but when temps dipped to -45F and I stayed comfortable I knew I made the correctChoice. I also purchased the Bibs to compliment the outfit and the Arctic was no match for these items. Great product.

Excellent coats

I just bought this parka direct from Refrigiwear and I am really happy with it. I also bought a pair of Extreme Softshell bibs to go with it. I originally wanted to have a set Extreme Softshell top and bottom but since they don't make a hood for them I decided to go with the Iron tuff ice parka and after using it I really like it. They are warm and the wind can't seem to penetrate the suit. I'm sure glad I purchased this outfit from Refrigiwear. I ordered the XL and it fits good for me. (5 ft 10 in. and 205 #)
