This is the second pair of gloves i bought from RefrigWear and the second failure. The gloves claim to be good to -20 degrees. I work in a freezer -10 to -20 degrees. With inserts the gloves will keep you warm for about 30 minutes while operating a fork lift. The problem is I'm in the freezer for up to 3 1/2 hours at a time. Not sure who rates the gloves or what the criteria is for the rating but they really should be changed to real world applications.

I needed a warm waterproof glove to wear in between fall and winter at work. I drive an open Tug at the airport in Chicago, which it can be very cold with freezing rain. These gloves are warm to about 20 degrees Fahrenheit and did keep my hands dry if it wasn't raining. (They kept my hands dry for about an hour when raining) These gloves have great movement in the fingers and padded very well. They are comfortable to wear for hrs. and the PVC abrasion pads on the fingertips and palm work well. One note: when you wash these, they do take a long time to dry in the dryer. Might be because of the waterproof barrier.

Good gloves

I purchased these gloves for my son. He works in a refrigerated warehouse ( just above freezing temperature). The gloves that were issued to him by his employer did not keep his hands warm enough. I bought these gloves for him to try. He absolutely loves them and they keep his hands nice and warm. He said they are 100% better than the gloves he was issued by the employer. Five stars for sure!!!

I bought these gloves for my husband for Christmas. He loves them already. He said they really keep his hands warm these past few days in the 10 degree cold!
