    bought this for winters in Wisconsin. it's very warm, but comes up a little short on my long head. i wear a 7 3/8 ball cap and this is almost too snug. fits under the hood of the Polar force parka.

    This cap is best suited in very cold temperatures - it's really warm and blocks the wind.

    Recommended to astronomers

    I use this when doing amateur astronomy. It is very warm and doesn't have a brim that would bump into my telescope. Also, the reflective stripe in it is very helpful, because if I drop my hat on the ground, I have to be able to find it using a very dim flashlight (to avoid disturbing other astronomers), and the reflective stripe is perfect for that.

    Really great cap! Very warm for the deep freezer, and Minnesota winters. Nice reflective stripes.

    This hat was purchased to replace a hat that I loved. I now love this hat even more than the one it replaced. Can't find a hat this thick any where else. I highly recommend it!! I will buy more for my relatives. Very warm and stops the wind.
