    Quality, Well Made, Winter Fun

Posted by Herbie on 13th Jan 2019

I got these for Christmas 2018. I was so excited. We live in Wheeling, IL and have not had much snow this winter. But was very anxious to try them out. Finally a snowstorm the last two days, Storm Gia. I wore these out shoveling the driveway during the storm, took a walk around the block as well. This is a quality snowsuit period ! The lining and exterior shell is awesome, a wet snow will bead up and not penetrate. The fur collar was awesome and the snow clings but does not soak in like a sponge, yuk. Wife was teasing me cause I went out later last night, still snowing...4-5 inches total. I wanted to be outside in the snow with these coveralls they are that fun and enjoyable to wear and use. Take your measurements in sizes as described on the page and match them up to the chart. I have a 2XL. My wife knows she got me a great gift cause if it is snowing, I am wearing these outside. Sunshine was out today and I wore them out again to knock icicles off the house. Cannot wait for a real deep snowfall 6-12 inches plus to go outside and really have some fun in the snow !!! I would recommend this product to Men who work outside in cold climates, and for families who enjoy winter fun outside. Well worth the investment and it keeps you warm !

    Perfect for long periods outside

Posted by Road W. on 11th Jan 2019

I stand outside for long periods of time, not moving much (so you get cold fast!). Company was great to deal with. I had to return my original order for a different size and there was absolutely no problems!

    product confusion

Posted by Willie L. on 21st Dec 2018

I ordered the XL regular fit. When it came the body fit nicely but the sleeves and legs were way too long. I reordered with having the arms and sleeves shortened. I received it today. The arms and legs are perfect but the body is that of the Large size. The chest between the armpits measures 20 inches that's the same as my 15 year old Large. The label on the new one says XL but the measurements are those of a large and it is too tight across the chest. An XL should be roomy. I reordered again and hope to get it right this time. This is my 5th Refrigiware suit. I love them and wear them for ice fishing. I would have certainly given it a 5 star rating except for this hassle.

Design A Suit For A Female

Posted by The J. on 7th Dec 2018

I am a female, 5'5", 120 Lbs. I operate a horse farm and wanted something warm, durable and comfortable when working around the barn and outside with horses during the winter months. This suit is warm and has a nice, furry collar. But, it does not fit my body. I ordered a Small, and the crotch falls five inches above my knees. The fabric is strong, but too stiff to move around and bend over. It is difficult to bend down to pick up a horse's foot. The fabric is not at all flexible. I struggle putting it on because it so stiff. I do not like the hand pockets because they are set up to put your hands into them in a vertical, downward position. I would like to put my hands into the pockets at an angle along my sides. There is a left, breast pocket that has a hard, rubber cover. Trying to put something into that pocket involves lifting the hard cover without hurting or cutting your hands. Please consider that there is a huge market for your product, if only you could design a suit that properly fits a woman's needs.

    Warm as toast

Posted by Salmon J. on 4th Dec 2018

I had some Refrigiwear bibs when I was in Alaska riding snowmobiles in -20F weather and almost cooked they were so warm. If you don't like being cold, you are going to love these coveralls. I plan to buy another pair for hunting.

    Different sizing

Posted by Aurorasky on 5th Nov 2018

I had the opportunity to try on these coveralls at a store here in Alaska and ended up with an XL, but in a Short length! I am 5'9" and 180 lbs. Never did I think I would be a men's short! A little difficult to maneuver out of, but very warm. I did not know about the green color since they did not have this at the store. That would have been better than the black since I use it for 4-wheeling and would like to be seen in case I go off an embankment! Maybe adding some reflective striping to future coveralls would be great. Vests don't work since they get caught up on branches, etc. As far as fit... you look like a tank from the back, but it isn't about looking like a snow bunny... it is about being warm and survival! One question... Is there a hood for these or am I at the mercy of my wolf trapper hat? Another fashion statement in Alaska! Thanks
