    Depends what I'm looking for

Is there a way to make the material softer. Should I wash it or leave it alone? It's very stiff. And the zipper should be longer, would make for easier potty breaks

    So far so good...

Posted by Deb on 24th Jan 2019

This suit seems to be well-made and is definitely warm. It replaces a Carhartt's that I had for 25 years, so I am hoping this one lasts as long. I originally bought another Carhartt's and returned it because I did not feel that the quality was as good as they used to be. I've only had the Refrigiwear suit for a few weeks but I have already worn it in snow and subzero weather and so far I've been happy with its performance. I wish there were a few more size options; I originally bought a "regular" but the legs were too short, so I exchanged it for a "tall" but the torso is a bit too baggy (even with the inner elastic cinch)- I decided I can live with it since I like it otherwise. The service, shipping, return and exchange were fast and easy. We have a few other Refrigiwear coats and have always been satisfied with the quality and warmth.

Works very well. Hard to decide right size.

Posted by Short A. on 6th Dec 2018

I use the Coverall for clearing snow (230 inches per yr) in temps from -40F to +25F (including) wind chills. It kept me comfortable at 15F with only 1 layer of clothing underneath. With the lowest temps I assume some additional underneath clothing will be necessary. The Coverall is very roomy and seals well. (Add your own head covering.) So I was very happy except for the fit. I am 5 feet 7 inches tall with a 40 in. waist and a 44 in. chest. The XL was way too big for me. The L is usable but a little long in the leg and in the upper part. (An extra 4 in. height might be perfect.) The M might be too small in some aspects or not.

Our business entails various temperature zones from 40 degree coolers to 30 degree coolers to -5 degree freezers. This coverall provides good protection for use in all of those temperature zones for extended periods. I would recommend this coverall for use in most cold storage warehouses at or above -5.
