RefrigiWear® to Retire Avaska Product Line this Fall

DAHLONEGA, GA (August 15, 2025) RefrigiWear will retire its Avaska line of European-inspired freezer- and coolerwear, effective September 1, 2025.

Considering the instability and uncertainty regarding tariffs, as well as the impact such cost fluctuations have on its customers, RefrigiWear is accelerating efforts to streamline products across its domestic brands.

"We're on a mission to deliver the warmest, most durable and most comfortable workwear for the essential workers of the cold chain," says RefrigiWear Chief Commercial Officer Wes Dye.

“Our customers are counting on us to tailor our products to both the people wearing them and the conditions in which they work, while also delivering the best possible value,” adds Dye.

Retiring the Avaska brand, along with several other RefrigiWear and Samco-branded products, allows the company to remove duplicate products across the workwear brands it acquired over the last few years. Products with nearly identical features, functions and materials will be consolidated to offer customers better value and a shopping experience that is quicker and easier to navigate.

“The current inventory of retired products will remain available while supplies last, and some former Avaska products will continue to be offered under our flagship RefrigiWear brand. We're sharing updates with our customers on product availability and recommendations for replacement products to ensure continuity for our customers and their employees,” explains Dye.
