RefrigiWear Selects 28 New Warehouse Heroes of the Year

Celebrating the essential workers of the food supply chain

DAHLONEGA, GA (December 1, 2022) – – Each year, RefrigiWear receives hundreds of submissions to the annual Warehouse Heroes of the Year contest and each year, the competition gets increasingly fierce.

So many men and women around the country have dedicated their careers to working in the cold and making sure our food supply chain remains operational. RefrigiWear is so grateful for their dedication and hard work, these extraordinary individuals deserve the highest praise.

Warehouse supervisors around the nation made every effort to impress for the 23rd Annual Warehouse Heroes of the Year nominations. After an extensive vetting process, 28 winners who demonstrated the greatest attitude, leadership, productivity and ingenuity were selected and awarded.

"From the team and I at RefrigiWear, we are so honored to be recognizing the hard-working individuals of the food supply chain for the 23rd year in a row. We continue to be amazed at the accomplishment of these workers who spend hours in the freezer, ensuring they help keep food on America’s tables. The selection process for the Warehouse Heroes of the Year has become something that we all continually look forward to doing. Just as quality, safety, and superior service are important to these individuals, the same goes for RefrigiWear when we are working to supply these men and women with the gear they need to be top performers in their jobs each day," says RefrigiWear CEO Ryan Silberman.

The selected winners will be featured in the forthcoming 2023 Warehouse Heroes calendar. Winners also received custom RefrigiWear jackets and plaques in honor of their superior work ethic and success in the cold storage industry.

Of the 28 winners, 4 of these dedicated individuals were presented with Lifetime Achievement Awards for their lasting impact on business operations, commitment to decades-long careers working in cold or freezing environments, willingness to mentor and lead their peers by example and overall positive outlook.
