RefrigiWear® Launches New Gear for Greater Protection from the Cold

2020 New Product Launch Press Release Banner

DAHLONEGA, GA (October 8, 2020) — RefrigiWear, the original "work in the cold" company and the leader in tough workwear for extreme cold conditions, introduces over 30 new products, including two new collections, as well as collection expansions. This marks the seventh consecutive year RefrigiWear® has launched a significant number of new products featuring new materials, functionality and safety features.

This year's product launch introduces the 54 Gold Collection consisting of a jacket, bib overalls and glove. Inspired by Iron-Tuff® freezer suits that have been best sellers for RefrigiWear for over 50 years, 54 Gold boasts an updated look, enhanced functionality and more modern features, including a WarmPlus graphene lining that adds warmth and durability. The jacket and bib overalls feature Performance-Flex for better mobility and our lightweight AirBlaze™ insulation to create high-performing defense against brutally cold conditions down to -50°F.

For conditions between 10°F and 40°F, RefrigiWear® offers the new ChillShield™ Collection with a jacket and pants. Lightweight AirBlaze™ insulation provides warmth without the bulk, abrasion-resistant panels protect against snags or tears and a durable yet very pliable outershell makes tough work in cooler conditions easier to manage.

"We spend countless hours shoulder to shoulder with our customers working the toughest jobs in the coldest conditions, so we know what it takes to keep people warm and comfortable," says RefrigiWear® Chief Revenue Officer Ryan Silberman. "That's why we're constantly developing innovative ways to make working in the cold easier."

Ways RefrigiWear Innovates

WarmPlus graphene lining adds warmth to our 54 Gold Jacket and Bib Overalls and our new Extreme Hooded Jacket. Though the thinnest and lightest lining on the market, WarmPlus graphene heats up four-times faster than other linings and stays 24% warmer.

This year, we're also introducing a new VitaComfort® Bounce technology to fight foot fatigue. Found in the new Iron-Tuff® Hiker boot, the super-comfortable midsole absorbs shock from impact, adding comfort and reducing injury. Watch this video to learn more about the VitaComfort Bounce technology.
